Really?
I would first like to take a moment and give you guys an update on Mission Park. I have been neck deep with work at KSAT 12 and Latv, but have still made great headway on Pre-pro.
On a sad note. I found out through true friends and sources that a certain individual with a certain empty warehouse that claims to be the next Hollywood, has been falsely accusing my wife and my self of actions in which we in no way, shape, or form have any idea about. To those of you who know me, you know what, and who I am talking about. Further more, you know that this is absurd. This guy had my Wife and I move down from Austin, promised us the world, said all the right things, and then burned us. We saw in the three months we were working there, things that I would rather not talk about. When we began to question his actions and knowledge of the film industry, and decided to continue work from home, He immediately changed his "pitty me" mentality and wanted us out. He stole all of our contacts, removed all the computers from the office, and said he was going out of business. He called and said he still wanted to work with us, apologized, and now that he sees us as a threat, man, he is lying about us. He still has many Dell computers that we donated and won't even return them. He constantly bad mouths people he has burned, says he knows people he doesn't know, and acts like the world is trying to bring him down. If you are new to the San Antonio Film industry, you will hear about him. If you are currently working for him, and believe what he says, I'm sorry. I fell for it too. The truth will come soon enough. I have not mentioned his name because I don't believe it will do any good. If you are reading this and know me as a person and a professional, you know the truth. If you are reading this and wondering who I am talking about, you'll find out. So please, believe what you will, but don't judge me until you have met/worked with me. Any one qualified to Produce, Direct, and Edit, deserves Pay on a decent level. Working for Free, and depending on promised money, even getting paid cash for services rendered, is wrong. Every employee, and/or freelancer, needs to report a 1099.
I am sorry for the drama, I would normally just blow things like this off. But when a person has influence on the future of San Antonio's creative youth, he needs to act like a professional. Thank you all, and God Bless.
